This English version is provided as a courtesy translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Hebrew version of this policy is the binding one.

General

We respect the privacy of this website's users and act in accordance with Israeli law, and in particular the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (as amended by Amendment 13 in 2025) and the policies of the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority. The purpose of this document is to explain how we collect, use and store the information you provide or that is collected while you use the site.

What information we collect

When you use the site, information is collected in two ways:

  • Information you knowingly provide — for example: filling in the contact form, subscribing to a newsletter, contacting customer service.
  • Information collected automatically — via cookies and similar technologies: IP address, browser type, time spent on the site, pages viewed, and more.

Depending on the circumstances, this information may be considered "personal information" and/or "particularly sensitive information" under the law.

How we use the information

The information collected is used for:

  • Providing the site's services and improving the user experience.
  • Sending updates, newsletters and marketing offers — subject to explicit consent.
  • Statistical and analytical analysis of site activity (Google Analytics and similar tools).
  • Maintaining information security and preventing misuse.

Sharing information with third parties

We may share information with external service providers that help us operate the site (such as Google, Facebook, hosting providers, mailing systems). In these cases information is transferred only to the extent required to provide the service and in accordance with the law.

We will not transfer personal information to third parties for marketing purposes unrelated to us without your consent.

Use of cookies

The site uses cookies and similar technologies for proper operation, adapting the site to your preferences, collecting usage data and statistics, and for targeted advertising purposes.

You may change your browser settings to block cookies, but some of the site's services may not function properly as a result.

Data retention

Information is retained for as long as needed to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, and is then deleted or anonymized, unless the law requires otherwise.

Your rights as a user

Under the law, you are entitled to:

  • Review the information held about you in our databases.
  • Request its correction if you find an error.
  • Request its deletion, subject to legal requirements.
  • Withdraw your consent to the use of information you provided (such as unsubscribing from mailings).

To exercise these rights, contact us at: shay@lavit.io

Information security

We implement advanced security measures, including encrypted communication (SSL), access controls and periodic reviews, to protect personal information against unauthorized access, unlawful use or exposure. That said, we cannot guarantee absolute immunity.

Updates to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. The most current version will be published on the site with an update date. Continued use of the site after an update is published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
